Beginning of Summer Fun

Sophie is now moving onto second grade. Next year we will be moving to a different school so Lydia can have all day kindergarten. Sophie was pretty teary the last day leaving her school and amazing teacher she was lucky enough to have for 2 years.

To celebrate the last day of school we took the kids bowling.

Easton discovered the air blowing out of the bowling ball stand and was totally entertained by it.

We also went camping because we just had to try out our teardrop trailer Chad and his Dad have been building for two years!

Chad and Easton slept nice and cozy in there. Since it doesn't fit a family of six we are going to have to take turns. We camped at Rose Lake and had fun spending time up in the mountains.

It was nice to get away from the hot weather and cool off. The kids had a blast collecting pine cones and making smores. We now need to go on more camping adventures with our new fun trailer!

William 5 Months, Easton Grown Up, and Lydia's a Graduate

Our little William is 5 months old now. I feel like the past couple of months have flown by. Can we slow down a little?

He loves to play and is getting good at rolling both ways now. Although going from his tummy to back takes a little more work for him so he gets frustrated.

He has started eating solid foods. He loves green beans and carrots and oddly enough doesn't get very excited over fruits like applesauce and pears.

He adores his siblings and they are quite lucky he forgives easily.

I had to run him to the ER because we thought Sophie might have broken his leg. He was playing on the floor and Sophie fell off of the couch and her knee landed straight on it. We have never seen him scream like that before. Sophie was in tears and after he flirted with all the nurses they determined all was well.

He absolutely loves baths and kicks like crazy spilling half the water out of the tub.

We love our happy baby!

Easton is finally potty trained! Chad bribed him with a new semi truck toy if he would do it and this kid just started going like he has been doing it his whole life. He has had very little accidents and was so proud of himself for filling up his sticker chart!

Lydia has been going to Joy School with her friend Addyson. They have had so much fun and a few nights ago they graduated!  Lydia kept saying all day that it was her coronation day! Funny girl.

They performed a song and cheer and did such a good job. Then they marched around with their family flags.

It was so fun and the girls did a great job. Now she is off to Kindergarten!

Happy Birthday Easton!

Easton turned 3 years old last week. This kid has grown so much and is a Daddy's boy all the way. He is getting good at drawing and I was so impressed when he was painting with Lydia the other day. He painted himself holding a ball.

This year he got to do a birthday party!

He wanted a monster truck cake...

Jackson and Gavin came over to celebrate with us and the kids had a blast playing together.

Aunt Sarah knows this little man well and gave him a ball catching game and monster trucks!

On his actual birthday he got to open his present from the family. He got his very own little Eleanor.

That night we headed to the Pima County Fair with Grandma and Grandpa Clayton. The kids loved the Egypt exhibit with all sorts of animals.

They ran around and played in the kids play exhibits.

There was these cute old men teaching kids how to make their own rope which was so cool!

They got to turn the crank to twist the rope all up and keep the rope. Probably the coolest thing at the fair.

William thoroughly enjoyed snuggling with Grandma.

And of course the awesome petting zoo. The kids probably could have hung out in there all day. And the tiny baby goats were pretty much the cutest things in the whole world. Makes me want to have a farm every time we go.

Happy Birthday to our big 3 year old!!!
