Boise Adventures Part 4

The weather was much better on Thursday and we were able to go water skiing! we were very excited...

We were prepared with our flagman. He's a professional. (he even reminded me to raise the flag a couple times)
Chad showed off his mad skills...
The kids had a blast on the inner tube...
Sophie was so excited to go with daddy

Ty-kell liked it until the boat started

Amea loved it.
Sophie decided to be brave and wanted to go with just Kaylie. I'll admit I was really nervous. I imagined them hitting one bump and her flying out. She is just so tiny. So I made myself be brave and let her go. (I told her NOT to let go of the handle) And she did great and loved it...
Kaylie and Sophie would have done this ALL day. They were always asking to go.

Kamrie was all smiles
We have decided we have to live near a lake. Sophie loved the boat and only got off to eat. I could not get her off the boat. She told Grandpa at the end of the day that we need to get a boat....
Someday Sophie....

Boise Adventures Part 3

On Wednesday of our Boise trip as we were getting ready to go water skiing Lydia started crawling...crazy!
When we got to the lake we were nervous because the weather. It was a bit stormy and then it started to hail. So we postponed water skiing until the next day.
We did not want to drive all the way out there for nothing so we let the kids play at the "beach"

Amea sat there the whole time. She didn't care that she was freezing.
Then we drove out to Payette to the cemetery to visit family...

After we went to a park to play that had this awesome slide. It was a really tall spiral slide. Mom remembers when they put this slide in as a little girl. It was the funnest slide ever. They just don't make them like they used too. Sadly I did not get a picture of it. Then it started to rain on us so we headed back. Despite the storm it was a very beautiful day...

More to come!

Boise Adventures Part 2

While in Idaho we got to go to the Boise Zoo which was a lot of fun. It is much bigger than the Tucson Zoo and they had a lot of fun animals.

They had a wallaby walk about which was really cool. You could go in and walk through while the Wallabies hoped around you. Sadly I did not catch wallaby in this picture...
The penguins were my favorite...

Lydia would get so excited when one came close

Cute Miss Amea loved them too

Then we went and fed the goats. Ty-kell was so excited for this. He asked every few minutes if we could go feed the goats and we would tell him not yet. He would get sad and then a few minutes later ask again. what a cutie...

Then we went into the Butterfly room. It was so cool. The Butterflies were everywhere and they landed on a few of us..
Can you find the butterfly?

During our trip Aimee and Tyrone were nice enough to let us stay with them. I know I have said it a lot but it was so much fun! Sophie was so excited to play with Ty-kell again. She has told me several times since we came home that she wants to go back to "Ty-kell's Idaho house".

When you go outside of their house most of the time their is a flock of ducks on someone's lawn. So one night we went out and fed them...

and more and more ducks kept coming....

This made me miss the lake and feeding ducks in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard.

 Stay tuned for more!...

Boise Adventures Part 1

Last week we got to spend time with family in Boise, Idaho! It was so much fun and we did so much that it is going to take a few posts to go over everything. Sophie was so excited to finally get on the airplane. We had a layover in San Diego and she ran around telling me she couldn't find Idaho!
At one of our stops the Pilot let Sophie check out the cock pit and even "fly" the plane...

Once we got off the plane we got to eat at Chad's cousin Heather and Will's Creperie. It was so yummy! And we finally got to see our green grass we have been dreaming of!!!! Oh how we miss you already....

At the Family Reunion Grandpa Clayton let us drive in his awesome 1929 cars that he rebuilt. Now there is a 1929 Woody Station Wagon in the making!

We stopped at a buffalo ranch halfway through the tour....

It was so much fun riding in these cars. Grandma and Grandpa invited us to go on "date night" with them on Friday. Each couple got to pick which car we wanted to take and we drove to the local Sonic for dinner. Several people from the Model A Club do this every Friday. It was fun to see all of the different old cars parked at Sonic.
The day before was Chad and my 4 year anniversary. So this was our anniversary date and it was really fun! I can't believe it has already been 4 years. Being married to Chad has been amazing and I can't wait to spend the rest of eternity with him.
