The weather has been beautiful so we have enjoyed hiking. The kids have wanted to hike Mount Fagan for awhile now so we headed to the Arizona trail.
We found out pretty quickly though that it was a bit too long of a hike to get to the actual mountain. William decided he was done.
But we still enjoyed the beautiful day and scenery.
We also went hiking in Cienega Creek. William could hike forever there.
After hiking we enjoyed safety day at the fire station. They had a jumping castle, helicopter, face painting, hot dogs and ice cream. What more could you ask for?
We also got to watch Toodles while Grandma and Grandpa Miller went to Disneyland. The kids had so much fun with her. I told my parents they better get home soon because Easton was starting to call her "his dog." William and Toodles were best buds by the end of the week.
I have been wanting to paint my piano white since we got it a year ago and I finally did it! It was a lot of work but I love how it turned out!
I still need to replace the keys and figure out a different bench but it is done for the most part!
We usually don't decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving but we got a little excited this year and put up the tree.
We had a great Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Miller's with delicious food and family. I didn't take any pictures so please enjoy this picture of Easton and his creation.
Sophie is in choir again this year for school and they just had their first concert. She did a great job!
We had a great November and are looking forward to Christmas!

October
October started with the long awaited Man Trip! Chad and Easton headed up to enjoy a week of driving Model A's through the Idaho and Oregon country. They had a blast and Easton is still talking about it and how he can't wait for the next trip with his Great Grandpa, Grandpa, Dad, and Uncles. They slept in the snow and got to ride an old steam train!
Cute Descendants girls. A "Master Jedi" and Dinosaur.
While they were gone the rest of us got to go to Disney on Ice with Sarah, Gavin and Jackson! Thank you Grandpa Clayton!!! It was amazing and William was so excited to see Mickey! He kept saying "I get to see Mickey and he gonna LOVE me!!"
It was just as fun to watch the kids faces as it was the show!
Grandma brought home some cute Halloween jammies for the kids.
William and I spend a lot of alone time together with all the other kids in school. He refuses to lay down and take a nap which usually results in some random naps during the day.
We have enjoyed a lot of rain this month and some beautiful rainbows!
Sophie turned 10 years old! She loves cooking, baking, crafts, and math. She decorated her own cake.
We had both Grandparents over for her favorite meal...chicken enchilada casserole.
And she got this cute apron from Grandma Clayton! She received her birthday present early from us since she wanted an Evie halloween costume in time for our ward trunk or treat.
Cute Descendants girls. A "Master Jedi" and Dinosaur.
On Halloween Day Sarah and I took Gavin and Jackson to Great Grumpa's and passed out candy.
Then we painted pumpkins and made ghost rice krispie treats before trick or treating.

September
Chad turned 33 last month! For his birthday we had his parents over for dinner and the kids decorated the house. And we enjoyed Chad's favorite dessert Pie.
Mom made him a cool new bag for his hiking backpack and an awesome money apron. He also received a new water pillow since we have tried many pillows that just don't work.
After we went out and shot our bows and played a little Top Shot. The challenge was to hit the target while in a moving wagon. Chad was really good at this but my phone was being crazy and wasn't recording the first 2 times he nailed the target and of course when I had him do it again and the phone actually recorded it it barley missed the target. But it was fun!
For September 11th the kids at school had a poster challenge with the theme "Home of the free because of the brave" Sophie worked really hard on her poster and was thrilled at the school assembly to be the grand champion winner of the school! She loved her prizes of gel pens and a water frisbee.
William is getting used to being the only one home during the day but he does get bored playing by himself and with me.
But he does love going to visit Great Grumpa Miller. He especially loves when he gets to push his wheelchair.
Football season has started and we love cheering for Boise State! Grandma Clayton came across some perfect shirts on clearance that the kids were excited about!
It is finally starting to cool off here in the desert! One morning it was foggy and wet and the kids thought it was so cool how many spider webs were in the backyard that we didn't know about! Easton exclaimed "The spiders already decorated for Halloween!!"
Sophie and Lydia have been loving sewing class with Grandma Clayton and Sophie finished a dress for her doll.
We went to a totally fun mario party and played the game live! It was a lot of fun and the kids loved the costumes.
And lastly we have been enjoying watching our two baby owls from last year grow up affectionately named "Bread and Butter" It is hard to get a good picture of them but they love to hangout in our tree above the bridge in our backyard.
