Happy Birthday Easton!

Easton turned 3 years old last week. This kid has grown so much and is a Daddy's boy all the way. He is getting good at drawing and I was so impressed when he was painting with Lydia the other day. He painted himself holding a ball.

This year he got to do a birthday party!

He wanted a monster truck cake...

Jackson and Gavin came over to celebrate with us and the kids had a blast playing together.

Aunt Sarah knows this little man well and gave him a ball catching game and monster trucks!

On his actual birthday he got to open his present from the family. He got his very own little Eleanor.

That night we headed to the Pima County Fair with Grandma and Grandpa Clayton. The kids loved the Egypt exhibit with all sorts of animals.

They ran around and played in the kids play exhibits.

There was these cute old men teaching kids how to make their own rope which was so cool!

They got to turn the crank to twist the rope all up and keep the rope. Probably the coolest thing at the fair.

William thoroughly enjoyed snuggling with Grandma.

And of course the awesome petting zoo. The kids probably could have hung out in there all day. And the tiny baby goats were pretty much the cutest things in the whole world. Makes me want to have a farm every time we go.

Happy Birthday to our big 3 year old!!!

Easter

We dyed Easter Eggs at Grandma and Grandpa Clayton's house. The kids had a lot of fun coloring them and I am happy to report we had no messes and no blue dyed children whew!

Easter morning the kids were excited for lots of coloring activities for the car. Apparently the Easter Bunny knew we had some road trips this year ;) What a smart bunny.

William loved his new giraffe toy and smiles and kicks whenever he sees it.

After church we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Millers for dinner and an egg hunt. The kids each took home like 40 eggs it was crazy and they were in heaven.

Happy Easter!

Zoo Fun

The kids have been loving the zoo especially Easton who is always asking to go to the "animal zoo." By far all of the kid;s favorite animal is the otters. They love watching them swim and we stand and watch them forever. They really like the splash pad there too and because it is already getting warm I let them free to get soaked.

William just chilled as always and got a good nap in while chaos ensued around him.

They got pretty cold though so the next time we went we were prepared with swimsuits and towels. They enjoyed walking around to see animals much better that time. They found a little butterfly friend. They would run around and take turns sticking out their hand and this butterfly would land right on them. It was so fun to watch them get so excited and they played with "speckles the butterfly" for a good half hour.

I was just amazed Easton held still long enough for the butterfly to land on him.

William 4 Months

William The Hawk is 4 months old now! He is growing up so fast it's just crazy.

Although I have tried my hardest to stop him this little man loves sucking his thumb.

He started giggling this month also which is too cute for words. It doesn't last long though so you have to enjoy it while he does it since he is stingy. But he always has a smile for you.

And he also started to roll from his back to his tummy which is is quite proud of!

Happy 4 Months Mr William!

Zoo, Fun and Milestones

We have been enjoying the zoo recently or what Easton likes to call it "the animal zoo" because apparently there are other types of zoos....like maybe our house?

They had a blast running around and we actually did the whole zoo which is not not normal. They were also so excited to ride the train outside of the zoo all by themselves.

William is such a good sport at the zoo and just chills in the stroller.

We have started going up to phoenix once a month with Grandma and Grandpa Clayton which is awesome because we get to go to the temple. Last month the kids enjoyed looking at trucks after and Easton has asked a few times since when we are going back to look at trucks.

I took the kids to Old Navy a few weeks ago to get some flip flops because here in Az its already hot. You would have thought I took them to a candy store they thought it was so awesome. They especially loved the dog in the front and it took some convincing to get Easton to leave. He was finally content once he pushed the dog right up next to the little boy manikin. I guess he thought the dog was lonely.

I had to take Easton to the doctor to make sure his last ear infection cleared up okay and the kids were coloring. Easton kept saying "I drew you mom! and I drew Dad!" I figured it was just going to be scribbles but he had actually drawn heads and bodies!

We are all upside down but I was impressed and kind of shocked at how grown up he is getting to be.

I took Lydia to Kindergarten Roundup and we had some time between taking Sophie to school before it started so we played at the park. We had to go to two different school roundups since we are out of district. We have a bit of a school rivalry in the house now as Lydia loved Mesquite and Sophie loves Cottonwood. Should be interesting.

I can't believe she will be starting school in July!

William 3 Months

Our little Hawk turned 3 months last week!

He is getting really close to giggling and love to stretch out his legs. He will be sitting up and then move those legs of his and slide down. He definitely wants to go places.

He loves playing on his play mat and has gotten good at grabbing and pulling off the toys.

Easton is so proud of him and tells everyone he is  "his widdle brother"

He has started sleeping through the night! Which I of course love. He is such a sweet baby and we love him so much!!!
