Vacation 5

On the last day of our vacation Easton and I flew home in the morning and Chad and the girls met up with everyone to tour temple square. They had fun at the history museum and the conference center...

And who did they happen to run into? Elder Christofferson who was gracious enough to come talk with them and shake the kids' hands....

Chad and his Mom were explaining to Sophie and Lydia who it was and told them he was right next to their favorite Apostle. Lydia said "Quentin L. Cook!" And I guess Elder Christofferson is going to tell Elder Cook he met a couple of his fans :)

Vacation 4

On Friday of our vacation we went to Lagoon for the day...The kids all wore their tye dye shirts they made with Grandma. And many of them came back with their skin dyed all sorts of colors after they got all wet on the water rapids.

Chad and I thought the girls would be too scared to ride many of the rides. But we were wrong!

Lydia driving her first Ford! We are so proud!

There is a water park there too. It was pretty hot so in the middle of the day we swam and played in the water and were cooled off enough to jump on more rides!

We didn't even see Sophie for most of the morning since she was having too much fun riding rides with her cousins. And there was a medium sized roller coaster that the girls LOVED. It was pretty fast but Lydia wanted to go over and over again. Luckily there was no line so we did. And she met the exact height requirements barely.  She would scream with excitement even though she could barley hold her head up.

They also enjoyed the water rides. Especially the rapids. They didn't mind getting soaked at all.

Vacation 3

We all headed to Bear Lake to swim and play in the sand....Easton happily chilled under an umbrella...

Chad, Kimberly, and Aimee made an awesome fish...

With a little help...

Afterwards we all got some yummy berry shakes.

The next day was 4th of July! Grandma made fun shirts for all of the kids and got them pinwheels...

It was our last morning at the cabin. We headed into town for a delicious pancake breakfast.  Seriously the food was amazing. Just ask Chad. In the words of my sister he was "What About Bobing it." If you don't know what I am talking about watch the movie What About Bob its hilarious.

We then headed to Bountiful Utah to our hotel. Along the way we stopped and played at a park and the boys stopped and drooled at cars...okay maybe it was just my husband that drooled??

And the kids celebrated with poppers and sparklers in the hotel parking lot...

Lydia thought it was a good idea to touch the tip after the sparkler burned out.

And the 4th just isn't the same without a grand finale! Thank you Tyrone for setting it up for us....

Vacation 2

While at the cabin we checked out the Ice Cave nearby....

All the little kids braved the dark and cold rocks to climb in and enjoyed walking on ice. The cold cave felt nice in the hot weather.

Then we headed to a spring...I think it was called Soda Spring?

The water was really cold and considering how hot it was outside the Dad's proceeded to dunk every one's heads in the water to cool off...

Which all of the kids loved.

Vacation 1

We went up to Boise for the Clayton Family Reunion on June 29th. Sadly I didn't get any pictures. But it was a fun day and we also celebrated Grandma and Grandpa's 60th wedding anniversary. The kids played in the water, had duck tape creation contest, and we drove in the Model A's.

On Monday we headed to Paris!!!! What a perfect place to spend our 6 year anniversary. I told Chad I had always wanted to go to Paris. He said your welcome.

Okay well so it wasn't exactly the Paris I had in mind.....we spent a few days at a cabin in Paris Idaho.

Easton fully enjoyed all of the attention from his cousins.

Alex and Kimberly took Chad and I on a couples ride through the forest on ATVs. It was a lot of fun and we were completely covered in dirt.

The kids loved having "adventures" around the cabin and little creek.

Sophie decided awhile back she wanted to cut her hair. But insisted that Aunt Kimberly was the only one that could do it. She ended up having plenty of length to donate to Locks of Love too! So....

And she absolutely loves her short hair!

Easton's Blessing

We had the opportunity to bless Easton on our 6 year wedding anniversary! My awesome mom made his cute little outfit. He was such a dapper fellow...

It was nice to have Chad's whole family there for the event.

And we had 4 generations of Claytons in the circle...

My parents were also able to drive up to be with us...

It was a great day and it sounds like Easton is going to be one great missionary.
