Childrens Museum

Last night was monsoon night at the Children's Museum. Chad and his dad went to look at pieces of an original 1929 station wagon so Grandma Clayton took us to the museum. It was a lot of fun!

Here is Sophie ready to catch the bad guys and out them in "time-out" just like Uncle Mike and Uncle Brad.

She loved driving the firetruck like Uncle Jeff.
This floor was really cool. It had bugs that crawled around and we told her to stomp on them especially the scorpions. Then we read the directions and realized you were supposed to drag food over for them not kill them...whoops.
This screen was really cool I could have played with it all night. It records your silhouette and then plays it over and over again in one of the squares.

They had fun playing with trains.

And coloring. It was a fun night thanks mom!

Family Pictures

While we were in Idaho Chad's cousin Angie took some awesome pictures for us! I love them! Here are a few of my favorites...

This is how they really felt that day...so done

I am amazed at the pictures Angie got. Lydia was a emotional wreck and was broken out in a red spotty rash all over her body and Sophie was not listening at all. I was so sad thinking we didn't get any good pictures! But they turned out great! Thanks Angie your the best!!!

Sweet Prayers

Sophie went through a phase awhile ago where she always wanted to say the prayer. She would need help but she would get excited to do it. But the last few months we will ask her if she wants to and she replies "No my mommy say it." We haven't pushed it and just say ok Sophie you don't have to.

Last night when we were getting ready for bed she did her usual mommy say it and I did. And then she said she wanted to do it all by herself!

"Dear Heavenly Father....Peese bless the food...Peese bless prayers....Peese bless scrippers (scriptures)..........um....Peese bless Omah (grandma) in the name of Jesus Christ Amen."

We are so proud of her.

A New Friend

When we came home from a baptism on Saturday the girls and I were greeted by a new friend...
At first I didn't see it because I was looking at my keys to unlock the door and all the sudden heard a loud, fast, rustling noise as it ran up the wall. I screamed of course. I then composed myself and tried to convince Sophie how cool it was. A little nervous she stepped back and said "Mom take a picture!"
Needless to say we entered the house through the garage. No way was I going to walk under it. When Sophie asked me why we were not going in the front door I told her I didn't want to scare it. Ok so I was scared but that's my story and I am sticking to it!

Pictures that made me laugh today

I know everyone thinks I have probably fallen off the face of the Earth but I have been swamped with homework. Tomorrow is officially my last day of my insane math class!

Friday my computer crashed and my awesome brother Craig is currently saving me once again. So today I am only working one job instead of two. So I am a bit um bored....So I have been looking at old pictures.

While looking through our wedding reception pictures these are the random pictures that just made me laugh.....
This is the way to start a marriage...

Lydia 7 Months and GO Boise State!

Today Lydia turned 7 months old. Time is flying by...
She is crawling everywhere and pulling herself up to things. She tries really hard to walk along the couch but she just falls over. She loves her new freedom and is a much happier baby. I was helping Sophie with something the other day and looked over at Lydia and saw...

Before we left Boise we went to the Blue and Orange store to get Boise State shirts...it was a necessity. And all of their jerseys were on sale! So we had to get one for the whole family...
Chad and I have one too but I haven't gotten a chance to take a pic of all of us.
Sophie is shaking her hand up an down saying "Go Boise State! Go Boise State!!"

Me: "Are you ready for football season Sophie?"
Sophie: "Yes!"
Me: "Who are we going to root for?"
Sophie: Confused look.."I don't know mom.."
Me: : "Let me rephrase. Who do we want to win?"
Sophie: "Oh Boise State!"

She loves her jersey and wears it pretty much everyday. "Mom can we put our Boise State on?"
We are ready for football

Boise Finale

Saturday night we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner, homemade ice cream, and fireworks!

We started with poppers which the kids loved!

Then we did sparklers....

We found these awesome lanterns just like in the movie Tangled. Sophie loved it and she still talks about it everytime we watch the movie. She says "we did that mom!"

It went really high and very far. It was crazy. We all enjoyed a firworks show...

Afterwards the kids enjoyed looking at the stars...

Happy Fourth of July!!!
